Karin Vlug and Lisa Konno studied Fashion Design at the ArtEZ Institute of the Arts, Arnhem.
Vlug and Konno’s first collaboration, Collect, attempts to reimagine the wardrobe. The collection is, in fact, a never-ending garment that the wearer can easily and continuously adjust. With a series of interchangeable garment parts, such as sleeves and collars, Vlug and Konno created a simple DIY system in which a shirt can transform into a dress or a jumpsuit, and in which the wearer can collect as many pieces as wished and replace worn-out parts as needed.
